Spectacular Australian Black Opals.I cut and carve Australian Opal, I love watching Nature's color appearing from the stone as I work with it. This gem is what keeps a miner going! I was looking through a large pile of Lightning Ridge potch and color, mind you I've been through this lot many times, when a flash of red caught my eye, I was straight to the bench, carved away the stone and there it was - spectacular colors - red, blue orange, green with deep black back-round.
